'Much better' Sunday Brunch fans call for replacement host to stay 'No offence Tim'
Sunday Brunch featured a selection of guests including Loose Women panellist Frankie Bridge, award-winning musician Becky Hill and TV naturalist Steve Backshall. The Channel 4 show which usually consists of hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy had a switch-up when one of the presenters appeared to be missing. After the success of her latest appearance on the programme, Miquita Oliver returned and took over from Tim. Viewers were left confused on today’s episode after the long-standing host proved to be a no-show.
On Twitter, Lovelylentils pleaded: “@SundayBrunchC4 please keep @miquitaoliver, I like her so much better than Tim.
“No offence Tim but you’ve had a good run.”
Mumsloverum agreed: “So happy Tim’s off and @miquitaoliver is presenting! #SundayBrunch.”
Binwahreturns quipped: “#SundayBrunch Always good when Lovejoy ain't on. Frankie Bridge's voice has upset the Jessie Dog. (sic)

However, some viewers wondered where Tim was after missing out on another show.
Whereas KareninMalvern said: “She’s lovely but will miss Tim.”
MadameM wondered: “Just me missing Tim then? #SundayBrunch.”
When opening the show, Simon didn’t give explain why Tim would not be presenting over the weekend but a post was made on Twitter from Sunday Brunch’s official page informing fans of the swap.
On Twitter, the programme wrote: “Guess who is going to be helping @SimonRim host again today...@miquitaoliver #SundayBrunch.”
Miquita has worked on shows such as Popworld which she co-hosted with comedian Simon Amstell from 2001 to 2006.
She went on to present for T4 and most recently works for The Culture Show.
The 37-year-old personality has previously appeared on the show replacing both Tim and Simon on a number of occasions and has become a popular choice amongst fans.
