Defending champions the Chiefs take on the 49ers in Las Vegas this Sunday

One of the world's biggest sporting events is taking place in the USA this weekend, with millions expected to tune in. The 58th Super Bowl kicks off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, February 11.

It will see defending champions Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers battle it out in the National Football League championship final. The teams previously fought off in the same final four years ago - with the Chiefs crowned winners.

The Super Bowl is broadcast in over 180 countries in more than 30 languages - and is the most watched television broadcast in the US every year. Last year's final saw 115 million Americans tune in, with even more expected to watch this year.

It's slated to be a particularly star-studded event this year, with a halftime performance from Usher and megastar Taylor Swift rumoured to be in attendance, supporting boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

About 73% of American adults say they plan to watch the game this year, about 10% higher than recent previous years - with Taylor's supposed appearance thought to be a driving force, according to the American Gaming Association.

Here's how you can tune into all the action in the UK...
