Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has confirmed how to say his name ahead of Euro 2024, with a variety of Premier League stars set to take part in the tournament.

The way you are meant to pronounce the central midfielder's name is: "Tomaj So-check".

Meanwhile, Szoboszlai is one of the newer Premier League players whose name has caused confusion for English speakers. His is fairly straightforward and most people should have got the hang of it by now: "Do-min-ik Sob-oss-lye".

Szoboszlai will become the youngest-ever captain at a European Championship later today when the 23-year-old takes the armband in Cologne. The Liverpool number eight will skipper his nation with its hopes of progressing into the knockout phase resting almost exclusively on his shoulders.
