But Daniel also had the crowd in hysterics after he was guilty of being a tad too honest about his "nerves".

"Amazing level for me but I was getting pretty nervous in the third set," Daniel said.

"I was cramping a little bit and I was like 'Ah, s***'.

"I tried not to make too big a deal out of this match because everyone was asking me, 'oh you're playing Murray and you're going to play on the big court'.

"But it's just another match at the end of the day. It's kind of contradictory what I'm saying. It's important, but it's not important."
