Protect Taylor Swift trends on X after graphic AI photos of pop star go
viral
The posts, known as “deepfakes,” showed Swift in a variety of sexually provocative and offensive poses at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

Doctored graphic photos of Taylor Swift, which were created with artificial intelligence, were circulating on X Thursday morning, leading her dedicated army of fans to flood the platform with positive posts about the singer.

The phrase “Protect Taylor Swift” quickly began trending in the wake of several X-rated images being re-shared on social media from various NSFW websites.

The posts, known as “deepfakes,” showed Swift in a variety of sexually provocative and offensive poses at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

The lewd images of the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, both 34, originated on multiple AI sites earlier this month.

Page Six has seen the images but is not sharing them to protect Swift’s privacy.

“My Taylor post went viral and now everyone is posting it,” X user @Zvbear wrote, per Newsweek.

He later added, “Bro what have I done… They might pass new laws because of my Taylor Swift post. If Netflix did a documentary about AI pics they’d put me in it as a villain. It’s never been so over.”

In the wake of the social media scandal, thousands of people came together in an attempt to bury the AI-generated photos.

“people sharing the ai pics are sick and disgusting. protect taylor swift at all costs,” one person wrote.

“using ai generated pornography of someone is awful and inexcusable. you guys need to be put in jail,” another chimed in.

Several Swifties also responded to the rhetoric that as a “white billionaire,” Swift couldn’t be vulnerable to the bad actors weaponizing AI.

“‘taylor swift is a billionaire she’ll be fine’ THAT DOESN’T MEAN U CAN GO AROUND POSTING SEXUAL AI PICS OF HER LIKE A FREAK SHE’S STILL HUMAN BEING WITH FEELINGS,” one fan posted.

“I’m not a swifty, but the spread of Taylor Swift AI pictures should be stopped. She is a Human being with feelings no matter how rich she is it still hurts,” another wrote.

A third fan chimed in, “PROTECT TAYLOR SWIFT !!! she’s the sweetest person she is always grateful for her fans and does anything for them !! fr the sweetest person.”

Last year, highly convincing deepfake images of Pope Francis in a Balenciaga puffer jacket went viral, along with a fake photo of Donald Trump being taken down by a group of cops for resisting arrest.

It’s been a trying week for Swift both online and offline, after her alleged stalker was arrested again for lurking outside her $50 million Tribeca residence.
