TCL plans to make another dominant entry in the TV industry, as the firm will launch its mini-LED "flagship" display, featuring cutting-edge capabilities.
TCL's Upcoming Display To Break The Quality & Display Benchmarks Set By The Industry, Crossing Peak Brightness Thresholds
TCL is at the forefront regarding unveiling displays with astounding capabilities and specifications onboard, and the company's next flagship TV is no exception. According to FlatpanelsHD, TCL is all set to launch the X11H, which is rumored to be their next-big display release; however, it is limited to China for now, as this is how the company proceeds with all flagship releases.
While we haven't seen the TV surface up on official channels yet, it is reported that the X11H could feature 14,112 mini-LED dimming zones in a gigantic 98-inch panel for one of the variants. The X11H will also come in an 85-inch counterpart featuring 10,368 dimming zones. Moreover, the flagship display has peak brightness rated at 6500 nits, and interestingly, TCL claims that their employed mini-LED technology is 40% more efficient than conventional offerings.
Regarding other goodies, the X11H will feature a 4K VA panel, which reportedly comes with a 144 Hz refresh rate and is rumored to have zero latency with the onboard panel. Moreover, it is said that the X11H is as thin as a tablet, providing it with a futuristic look. We still await many other technical details on the TV, which would give us a clear look, but as far as what the leak depicts, it will undoubtedly be a testament to TCL, which is likely to dominate in the mini-LED segment.
We aren't sure about the release date for TCL's X11H yet, but we could expect it to debut in Chinese markets in late 2024 or early 2025 since TCL tends to launch such offerings during electronics events like CES and IFA.
