The local authority is aiming to digitally transform its finance, HR and other business processes replacing the existing systems with the company’s OneCouncil software-as-a-service technology.

TechnologyOne said this will support mobile working for employees and the automation of workflow and business processes.

Catherine Nicholson, chief officer assets and S151 at Allerdale said that by integrating different business tools the council will create a single source of financial and HR information.

“Business managers across all departments will be able to access easier-to-understand, real time information through new reporting dashboards allowing them to take appropriate and prompt action,” she said. “And, by automating and moving more processes to employee self-service, a greater number of council workers will benefit from time savings, improved business insight and better decision making.”

The ERP’s features including a portal for a range of self-service HR activities and live dashboards on team performance, resourcing, and recruitment.
