Where you can spend your Tesco Clubcard points and how long you have left to use rewards
Here's how to make the most of the Clubcard points before they expire at the end of May

The cost of living crisis is leaving families in a crunch across the UK, and supermarket giant Tesco has stepped forward to help with rising costs.

Tesco said it had identified millions of pounds worth of unused Clubcard vouchers that are due to expire on 31 May.

Clubcard points can be used in stores across the country, but can also help pay for experiences, holidays and meals out.

Here’s how to make the most of the Clubcard points before they expire at the end of May.

Where can you spend your Tesco Clubcard points?

Tesco’s Clubcard scheme can be used to take money off groceries, the vouchers are issued in 50p increments. But they can also be saved up and instead each 50p swapped for a voucher worth £1.50 with the scheme’s rewards partners.

The scheme includes everything from travel, to lifestyle and home essentials.

Experiences include the RAC, English Heritage, Cottages.com, Disney+ and attractions such as Legoland, Colchester Zoo and Alton Towers.

You can also use Clubcard Vouchers to help with the cost of filling up the car at Tesco petrol stations; the vouchers expiring in May could fill up nearly 200,000 family cars.

For those that want to take advantage of opening borders and loosening restrictions, vouchers can be used on the Eurotunnel, for airport parking and international travel packages.

Vouchers can be used Pizza Express, Cineworld and Alton Towers, if used towards a Pizza Express meal costing an average of £40 the vouchers expiring would buy 425,000 family meals.

When will my Clubcard points expire?

Tesco Clubcard vouchers are issued every three months, in February, May, August and November. They are valid for two years.

You can check if you have forgotten vouchers by logging into the Tesco Clubcard website with your account details.

Tesco said it will also contact affected customers via email (where they have contact details), to remind them to use these vouchers and added the easiest way for customers to instantly access all their vouchers is to download the Tesco Grocery and Clubcard app.
