I wouldn’t have a clue how to draw up a decent business plan, so it was comforting to see in The Apprentice that neither did most of the contestants.
Weren’t these the people who had claimed to be God’s gift to enterprise in week one? What happened to all that “I’m a shit-hot dynamo who could sell ice to Inuit” blather? It turned out that some of them didn’t realise that a business plan should show costs and distribution proposals. They thought they could wing it with waffle. “Woefully inadequate” and “the rantings of a lunatic” was how the interviewer Claude Littner described two contestants’ efforts. Ooh, it’s no fun being clawed by Claude.
I prefer the interviews
