Boat Race 2022 LIVE updates - Cambridge vs Oxford Boat Race 2022
Cambridge and Oxford's university rowing teams will go head-to-head as the annual Boat Race takes place today (April 3). The event will take place in front of spectators for the first time since the pandemic, with around 250,000 people expected to attend.
Cambridge is going into this year's Boat Race on a winning streak, having won the last three men's races and last four women's races in a row. We also hold the most wins in the competition with 130 while Oxford has 110.
The Boat Race spans nearly 200 years of history and has become an iconic British sporting event, attracting global interest. This year will see the 167th Men's Boat Race and the 76th Women's Boat Race.

The event will take place on the Championship Course in West London, which stretches over the River Thames. Live coverage is due to start just before 2pm.
