Golda Rosheuvel joins Adele, Helen Mirren, Jim Broadbent and George Ezra on tonight's Graham Norton Show

Bridgerton star Golda Rosheuvel is one of the famous faces set to appear on tonight's (February 11) Graham Norton Show.

The actor will be joined by BRIT Award-winner Adele, Oscar-winners Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent and singer-songwriter George Ezra.

Golda will discuss her role in the forthcoming second series of Netflix's hit period drama Bridgerton, which sees her reprise her role as Queen Charlotte opposite the likes of Phoebe Dynevor and Jonathan Bailey.

While the first series of Bridgerton gave Golda her big break, fans may recognise the 52-year-old actor from some of her other television roles.

She has been in the acting world for more than two decades, with roles in popular TV dramas including The Bill and Luther, which also starred Idris Elba.

Golda has also had minor roles in several long-running soaps, including Coronation Street and EastEnders.

First, she played Doctor Renshaw in Corrie, the doctor in charge of Sally Webster's care when she was admitted to the hospital in 2012. Three years later, in 2015, she played another medical professional, this time as the midwife who helped deliver Linda Carter's baby on EastEnders.

Golda is set to reprise her role as Queen Charlotte in the hotly-anticipated second series of Bridgerton, which is set to premiere on Netflix on March 25, 2022.

As well as starring in the main series, Netflix confirmed last year that Golda's character would be part of an upcoming Bridgerton spin-off series.

The planned prequel will follow the earlier years of Queen Charlotte, Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury.

When quizzed about the spin-off at the BAFTA TV Awards 2021, Golda said: "It will be interesting to delve in and see some backstory. I know questions are being asked about her."

The Graham Norton Show airs on Fridays at 10.35pm on BBC One
