The actress who played Jude Law's daughter in The Holiday is unrecognisable now

The actress who played Jude Laws daughter in The Holiday is unrecognisable now
Miffy Englefield played Sophie in the iconic Christmas film, but looks nothing like her character now

The Holiday is one of Christmas’ most iconic love stories of the 21st century, where we see Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz swap their polar opposite lives with one another.

Cameron lands in the Surrey countryside and is swiftly introduced to Kate’s brother, played by Jude Law, when he clambers into Kate’s cottage drunk.

She’s then introduced to his two daughters, including Sophie played by actress Miffy Englefield.

The former child actress looks completely unrecognisable 15 years after the release of the Christmas flick, sporting jet black hair and a punk rock look.

Now 22, Miffy lives in West Sussex with her partner, drummer Alex Whivley-Conway and their one-and-half-year-old daughter Frankie, who was born in 2020.

At the time, Miffy told Fabulous : “She arrived at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester three days early after 21 hours of labour.

“Then my temperature soared, doctors realised I had an infection and I was rushed for a c-section.

"I was pumped full of antibiotics and kept in hospital for two days."

Currently, she’s working as a barista as well as gigging on the punk rock scene.

Miffy was just 6 at the time

She recently told The Tab she hadn’t watched the film for a couple of years, and she has to get “very drunk” to watch it, but raved about her cast mates.

The 22-year-old said: “Kate Winslet is just the most powerful, gorgeous human ever.

“She’s so well spoken, just the way she talks, it’s almost like a storybook character.

“She’s amazing. She’s so great.”

Miffy has spoken fondly about her time on the film

Miffy has spoken fondly about her time on set, previously saying that Jude “had so much time for us,” to The New York Times.

She also revealed to the newspaper that she gave up acting as a teen because her single dad couldn’t keep up.

Despite giving up acting, she still sometimes gets recognised for her breakout role, calling out “gross old men” who still call her “cute”.

Taking to TikTok, she opened up about her experiences on the film, as well as how fans see her now.
