United States T42 Wins Tracking Devices Contract With DHL

T42 IoT Tracking Solutions PLC said Monday that it has secured a contract with logistics company DHL to provide tracking devices.
The provider of real-time monitoring solutions for the container and freight market said it expects an initial order for 32 tracking lock units to be followed by further orders by DHL.
The deal comes after a competitive pilot program with several other companies, it said.
"This is our first commercial order with global logistics leader DHL. Following a competitive and successful pilot program, this order represents a vote of confidence and validation of our tracking solution and our strategy shift to the global shipping container market," Chief Executive Avi Hartmann said.
Shares at 1412 GMT were down 0.5 pence, or 2%, at 25.5 pence.
