YouTuber Twomad has died aged just 23

YouTube star Twomad, whose real name is Muudea Sedik, has died at the young age of 23.

News of Sedik's death has been confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner after the YouTuber was found at his home in Los Angeles on 13 February.

Authorities were requested to conduct a welfare check at Sedik's home after he missed a number of appointments, and was not able to be contacted.

Upon arriving at the home, authorities found Sedik unresponsive.

Medical examiner records, reviewed by E! News, show that Sedik's cause of death has been deferred. TMZ has reported that drug paraphernalia was found at the scene of Sedik's death.

Sedik joined YouTube in 2017 and went on to amass more than two million followers.

He collaborated with popular online star Belle Delphine in 2022, when the pair appeared in a photoshoot together, and posted his last video on YouTube one month later.

Sedik had not posted on his main YouTube channel in more than a year, but he was still active on social media and shared his last post on Instagram last month.

The post featured a caption in which Sedik described himself as 'ambitious', saying he had 'dominated a part of the world'.

Recently, Sedik was accused of sexual assault and stalking by X user and osu! player Goldibell.

Sedik denied the claims, saying at the time: "They hear something and jump right into believing it without any actual proof. It’s like a witch hunt or something."

Following the news of Sedik's death, Goldibell released a statement say she was 'not happy he's dead'.

"I'm not sad. I'm shocked, and I can't feel anything but dread. I feel terrible for his family," she continued.

"I'm not celebrating, I hope his family is ok, though I'm sure they aren't. Losing your child is tragic no matter the circumstances."

Fans of Sedik have paid tribute to the YouTuber in the wake of his death, with many sharing comments on his most recent social media posts.

"RIP AN ACTUAL AMAZING LEGEND YOU WILL LIVE ON," one fan commented on Instagram.

Another person wrote: "You carried my middle school, thanks so much man."

On Sedik's most recent YouTube video, titled 'How I became CEO of Radio Shack', one fan commented: "man.. I don't care what people say, I watched all your videos and they have made me very happy. I think you were a once in a generation talent and personally, I won't forget you."
