Supermarket selling all veg for 1p until Thursday - here's a full list of what you can get

A leading supermarket chain has announced major discounts on vegetables until Thursday this week, as the British cost of living crisis worsens.

Iceland is helping customers' money stretch that little bit further by selling all veg for 1p until Thursday, when purchased online.

To make the most of the price slashing offer, punters will need to add their chosen pack of Easter veg to their basket before checking out, entering the code 'ICE1VEG' to receive the discount - The MEN reports.

The special offer runs from today until 11pm on Thursday, April 14.

Iceland said all fresh vegetables included in the offer will have ‘best before’ dates that fall after Easter Sunday to ensure they’re fresh for the holiday weekend.

Managing Director at Iceland, Richard Walker, said: “Our 1p vegetable sale was so popular at Christmas, especially when so many other supermarkets hike up the prices of their roast ingredients, that we decided this was a no-brainer to run it again this Easter.

"If we can help people who are feeling the pinch right now to save a few vital pennies while enjoying the same amazing quality of vegetables, then we’ll have done our job of being the supermarket that shoppers can rely on.”
