Warframe iOS Release Date Announced
Cooperative sci-fi shooter Warframe is coming to Apple devices tomorrow, February 20.
Revealed in a trailer from publisher Digital Extremes (below), the announcement made no mention of an Android release despite Warframe being available on practically every other platform.
"Players will be able to continue the progression of their Tenno on the go with full cross-platform save functionality," a statement from Digital Extremes said.
"Continue the sci-fi expansive journey in a variety of missions alone or with friends in co-op with Warframe launching on iOS on February 20 alongside its release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC."
Plenty of gameplay was shown in the trailer too, though it obviously won't be long until the full mobile version is available so players can get their hands on it themselves.
Warframe released more than a decade ago in March 2013 and as a live service game has received myriad updates. It had just 12 Warframes at launch, which are essentially just the playable characters, but now has 55 in total.
