Rajovic agent pours scorn on rumours of Watford exit
Rumours that Mileta Rajovic may be about to be sold by Watford have been dismissed by his agent Mikkel Beck.

Rumours surfaced over the weekend that the Dane was being pursued by the Hornets’ Championship rivals Ipswich Town and Blackburn.

The stories even went as far as suggesting Watford would be looking for £4m for Rajovic, who cost about a quarter of that sum when he signed from Swedish side Kalmar in August.

However Beck – a former Danish international who spent three years with Middlesbrough as a player - told Swedish website fotbolldirekt.se that the rumours were just that.

“There is no interest from any other English club. It is not something I am aware of,” he said.

“We have just recently signed for Watford. We don't think about anything else and Mileta is really happy to be here in every way. He is fully committed and only thinks about Watford.”

The striker's former Swedish club are obviously interested in any potential move, as the story suggests they could be looking at up to 15% of any sell-on fee.

With Rhys Healey having departed to join Huddersfield for around £2m last week, it seemed unlikely that the Hornets would sell another striker that only joined in the summer so quickly – although the reported £4m may have led many to think such a return on investment might have been attractive.

Rajovic has scored nine goals in 26 league and cup appearances since moving to Vicarage Road.
