West Brom attacker Grady Diangana

Before finding the back of the net, Grady Diangana struggled as West Brom are in the lead at the Hawthorns against Coventry on Friday, 1 March.
A bit of brilliance saw them take the lead as Mikey Johnston stepped up and showed exactly why he was signed in January.
However, despite having a lead, things have not been a walk in the park for Carlos Corberan’s side.
Diangana struggles initially for West Brom
Diangana set the ball rolling for what was a pretty woeful first half for the Baggies with a poor first touch in the opening minutes.
This saw possession switching hands and fortunately for the Baggies, Coventry did not make too much of it.
According to Sofascore, he even lost five out of seven attempted ground duels so barring the goal, he’s not really made an impact.
He even struggled to offer much of a goal or creative threat despite playing in the number ten position.
Goal gives Diangana credit in the bank
However, they say fortune favours the brave and he found himself in the right place at the right time.
Tom Fellows’ lovely ball into the box fell to Diangana and he slotted the ball into the back of the net to double the Baggies’ lead.

However, Diangana needs to know that he nearly let Corberan down and he needs to cut these errors out of his game.
In other West Brom news, a once exit-bound Baggies player is now likely for a Hawthorns stay as a contract twist has emerged recently.
