Westlife are set to take over the Loose Women panel on Friday. 

The foursome, comprising Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne, will sit behind the famous desk for the end of the week show to mark the release of their new album Wild Dreams, which is set for release on Friday.

Friday's panelists will interview the stars, who have notched up a staggering 14 No One singles, before handing over full presenting duties for a quarter of the show in what the group tell MailOnline will be 'incredible' for them.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Mark, 41, revealed: 'We are incredibly excited to release our new album and celebrate that with this special Loose Women takeover...

'It is going to be great to sit behind the famous desk and discuss the issues that matter to us and talk about our new music and plans for next year's tour...

'We're really looking forward to 'Loose Life'! As far as I know, no one has ever done this before. It is going to be great.'

Discussing Wild Dreams, Mark said: 'This album means more to us than anything we have done before and has been inspired by the challenges we've all overcome over the last 18 months...

'The maze of emotions we all experienced during the pandemic drew us to songwriting and has helped us create a really special album that we have everything we love in music...

'It's got fresh feel-good uptempo tracks like 'Starlight' as well as powerful, heartfelt ballads such as 'My Hero' and 'Always With Me'.'

Westlife soared to fame in 1998 also with Brian McFadden, who later left in 2004. 

The group broke hearts of fans around the globe when they announced plans to disband in 2012 before all embarking on respective solo careers over the years before reuniting in 2019 with their hit Hello My Love.

Earlier this year and last year, a number of the band's planned tour dates were axed throughout the coronavirus pandemic. 

Following on from the heartache, fans were left delighted to hear the group are headed on the road next year on The Wild Dreams Tour, which will take them across the UK's biggest arenas as well as the new album.
