Live updates as shoppers descend on Derby for the Boxing Day sales
In recent years, the Boxing Day sales have become somewhat of a Christmas tradition.
Big name brands and stores will be opening their doors to customers to offer the best discounts.
A number of stores across Derby city centre are opening up this morning, and will be welcoming people inside. Here are some top tips to make the most out of the sales.
The Derbion shopping centre will be operating Sunday opening hours, from 10.30am - 4.30pm.
The following shops are believed to be opening their doors inside the Derbion this morning:
Boots
Build-A-Bear
H&M
Hugo Boss
JD Sports
Lush
New Look
Pandora
River Island
Sports Direct
Tommy Hilfiger
Primark outside in the Corn Market will also be open 10.30am - 4.30pm as well.
Big names such as Next and M&S, however, have chosen to stay closed on Boxing Day to give their staff members an extra day off work for the festive season.
