Who is I'm a Celebrity's Maura Higgins dating?

As the days go on in the I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! camp, the conversations are getting deeper and the celebrities are opening up, and last night's episode saw the conversation turn to dating and relationships, with former Love Islander Maura Higgins confessing she was dating someone, well sort of.

During a conversation with Oti Mabuse, Reverend Richard Coles and Dean McCullough about love lives, Oti asked Maura if she was single.

She replied: "I am but I was seeing someone before I came in but I'm not in a relationship."

The Reverend then asked her, "Was it exclusive? Or if I've put you on the spot, sorry!" To which Maura said: "I dunno."

And then Dean asked if she didn't want to delve into the topic more because the mystery man was someone they might know, to which Maura said "yes". She also revealed she was missing him slightly since she had been in the jungle.

Before she arrived in the jungle, it was heavily rumoured Maura was dating Pete Wicks, who is currently competing on Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair have known each other for years and were spotted together at a number of events prior to her journey to Australia.

However, just before she went into the jungle Maura said she was single. Speaking to The Mirror she said: "I mean, I've been on a date with many people. I'm not [dating]. Where have you heard that? I date but I'm very much single. People go on dates."

Since she's been on I'm a Celebrity, Pete has showed support for Maura on social media. Just yesterday (1st December) he shared a picture on his Instagram Story urging his followers to support Maura and vote to save her from elimination.

He wrote: "I've been George of the Jungle, but now it's time to vote for Maura of the Jungle!"

And on Maura's Instagram, which is being managed by her family while she's away, they shared a clip of Pete and his dance partner Jowita Przystał in the quarter finals, wishing him luck.

They wrote: "waltzing into the quarter final like... knock em dead tony!! Best of luck tonight @p_wicks01 we are all supporting you."

Ok, we're going to need Maura to return from Australia asap to see what is going to happen next between these two.
