MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
- Burnley are unbeaten in six home league games against Wolves (W4, D2) since a 2-1 defeat in the Premier League in March 2010.
- Wolves beat Vincent Kompany's side 1-0 in December, ending a winless run of seven top-flight flight matches against the Clarets.
Burnley
- Burnley have won two of their last 17 Premier League home games (D2, L13), keeping just one clean sheet in that run.
- But, having beaten Brentford 2-1 last time out at Turf Moor, they are vying to win consecutive top-flight home matches for the first time since April 2022.
- The Clarets are unbeaten in three league fixtures (W1, D2), earning as many points in this sequence as in their previous 11 games (W1, D2, L8).
- They have had a league-high six players sent off this season - no team has had more dismissals since Newcastle and Aston Villa both had seven red cards in 2014-15.
- David Fofana can become the first player to score for Burnley in three successive Premier League appearances since Chris Wood in 2021.
Wolverhampton Wanderers
- Gary O'Neil's side are at risk of losing back-to-back top-flight fixtures for the first time since December.
- They could also lose three consecutive away league fixtures without scoring for the first time since a run of four between April and August last year.
- Wolves have won only two of their 17 Premier League away matches in the month of April.
- They have failed to win each of their past five league matches away to newly promoted sides (D4, L1).
- However, they have won three of their past four midweek matches in the top flight, as many victories as in their previous 16 such games.
