Jalen Brunson Displays Philly Pride at Wrestlemania XL With Eagles' Assist in Rey Mysterio's Win

Wrestlemania 40 is in full swing and all eyes are on the showcase of the immortals. The grandest WWE event of the year commenced on Saturday in Philadelphia. Night 1 had several highly-anticipated matches on the card, including a tag team match featuring Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio. While everyone expected it to be an exciting match, no one expected Philadelphia Eagles stars Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson to interfere in the match. The NFL stars’ surprise appearance even shocked Eagles fan and New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson.

As Rey Mysterio and Andrade faced Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar in a tag match, two masked men entered from ringside to assault Dominik while the referee was not looking. The interference led to Rey and Andrade getting a win. While the LWO celebrated their victory, the two intruders unmasked themselves, revealing their identity. Philly crowd went in a frenzy as they saw Eagles stars Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson behind the mask. Jalen Brunson also could not hold his excitement after the grand reveal and tweeted, “Kelce and Johnson at Wrestlemania made my night.”
