XBOX owners issued £25 warning and have until February 26 to act

Xbox players have DAYS left to grab £2.50 ‘fantastic survival’ bundle worth £25. Xbox is giving players the chance to get its three-title-strong Dead Island Definitive Collection, originally worth £24.99, on sale for just £2.49.

The Xbox Store offer ends at midnight on 26 February. On its store, Microsoft explains: "Buy the Dead Island Definitive Collection and get the all-new side-scrolling retro game, Dead Island Retro Revenge! The Dead Island Experience: Smash heads, crack skulls and slice ‘em up with visceral astounding melee combat and true story-based 4 player co-op in a sprawling open world just waiting for exploration.

The Dead Island Definitive Collection contains the genre defining Dead Island and its undead successor Dead Island: Riptide. Bundled with all previously released DLC. In a gushing five-star review, one fan typed: "awesome game had it for 360 loved it had to get it again a must for all zombie killers.. the graphics are still pretty cool to say its a last gen age." A second typed: "i love this its good if you love zombies or just want a fun game to play, i think its worth more money than what it is!"

Another said: "Greater than the sum of its' parts. It gets the feel of being in a zombie movie just right. Graphics and animations are just good enough to sell the atmosphere and story, which is what most 22 and 23 games really don't get. Lost myself in the role right away. On paper it'd be average in its' 360 days (game of the year stanard for 2022) but playing it is very different.

"It is one of the best zombie games ever made and feels refreshingly uncluttered and gameplay focused compared to current gen games. Ironic given the critical response at the time. Critics got it very wrong."

Another enthused: "I used to own this game on the 360 and I loved it back then. The gameplay is amazing, and I love the RPG elements. The only bad part is the cutscenes aren't very smooth and the animation is bad but overall its a great game. 9/10"
