The Jonas Brothers cover of Busted’s Year 3000 is iconic so it was only right that the Noughties pop bands teamed up for a duet.
The JoBros bought Busted out on stage at the 2019 Capital Summertime Ball on Saturday for a kickass performance which has the crowds bopping up and down and singing their hearts out.
The six lads performed in front of 80,000 fans, in what was Joe, Nick and Kevin’s first live show in the UK in nearly a decade.
The surprise collaboration came about after Jonas Brothers revealed their aspirations to team up with the British three-piece in an interview on The Official Big Top 40.

On Hesitate, which Joe wrote for Game Of Thrones actress Sophie Turner – whom he wed in late April – Joe sings: ‘Time, time only heals if we work through it now and I promise we’ll figure this out / I will take your pain and put it on my heart / I won’t hesitate, just tell me where to start.’
‘This is an important song. I wrote it for my significant other, Sophie, and it’s one of those love letters that you write to your partner saying, ‘”I’ll be there no matter what”,’ Joe previously told Apple Music about the song.
I Believe, written by Nick, is assumed to be about his whirlwind romance with Priyanka Chopra. He sings: ‘And people saying that we move too fast/ But I’ve been waiting for a reason, ain’t no turning back.’
