Zenith Bank don appoint Adaora Umeoji as di first female Group Managing Director and Chief Executive of di bank since 1990.

According to di bank statement, Adaora appointment as di bank CEO dey "consistent wit di bank executive transition tradition, succession plan, and strategy of grooming leaders from within."

Adaora Umeoji get thirty years of experience for banking industry and she bin dey work as di deputy managing director of di bank since October 2016. She don dey work wit Zenith bank for di past twenty-six years.

Adaora Umeoji come from Anambra state for di Eastern part of Nigeria.

She be alumnus of Harvard Business School wia she attend di Advanced Management Program (AMP) and she also go Columbia Business School for Certificate in di Global Banking Program.

She get Bachelor degree in Sociology from di University of Jos, anoda Bsc in Accounting and First-Class honours in Law from Baze University, Abuja.

Adaora hold a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from di University of Calabar.

She hold Master of Laws from di University of Salford, United Kingdom, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from di University of Calabar, and also doctorate in business administration from Apollos University, USA.

She hold Certificate in Economics for Business from di MIT Sloan School of Management, USA, and she don attend different management programmes universities around di world including management and strategic course from Wharton Business School, USA.

She be professional member of Chartered Banker Institute for UK, and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management.

Also, she be professional member of Institute of Credit Administration, Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, and di Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria among odas.

For 2022, di Federal Government of Nigeria honour Umeoji wit di Officer of di Order of di Niger, as recognition of her contribution to nation building.
