Customers are experiencing issues with online banking, logging in, seeing thier recent transactions and accessing their money.

Bank of Scotland, Halifax and Lloyds banking apps are down as thousands are unable to login to their accounts.

According to Down Detector, customers are experiencing issues with online banking, using a cashpoint, logging in, seeing thier recent transactions and accessing their money.

Customers across each corner of UK have been hit with issues on Thursday morning, with some reportedly unable to see the money in their account or even withdraw cash.

Bank of Scotland started experiencing issues around 7:30am, with customers saying their balance is 'missing' and shows 'N/A'. People in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen are worst affected.

Lloyds customers also started seeing issues around 7am, with 2,500 people reporting problems on Down Detector. People in London appear to be impacted the most.

The bank's service status said: "We know some customers are having issues with Internet and/or Mobile Banking. We're sorry for this. We're working to get it back to normal soon."

Some 1,356 Halifax users also reported issues this morning at around 8am, as it appears all customers are experiencing the same problems with their app.

The outages have not been officially confirmed by Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland at this time.

Across Twitter, it appears many customers are experiencing the same problems and have tweeted the banks for assistance.

One wrote: "N/a for balance. Can’t see this month transactions."

Another commented: "That will teach me to bank, personal and business with one bank alone. Unable to use cards online, unable to pay suppliers, invoices and wages.

"Can't even go to ATM machine. Not much point in me opening up today. Days trading lost."

One wrote: "I went on my Halifax app all my accounts are showing n/a. Went to cashpoint ant and can't use my cards."

Another commented: "Mines saying N/A on my currant account and savings. I can't access any of my money and I have 3 kids."

Bank of Scotland, Lloyds and Halifax have been responding to customers on Twitter, but haven't officially released a statement.

The trio of banks wrote in reply to users: "We know some of you are having issues with Internet Banking. We're sorry for this. We're working to have it back to normal soon."

It's the second time in 24 hours the three banks have been down, with reports on Wednesday of people unable to get into their accounts.

A Lloyds Banking Group spokesperson told the Daily Record: "Online banking is now back to normal. We're sorry some of our customers had issues with it this morning."
