Middlesbrough 2-0 Cardiff City highlights as Marcus Tavernier & Riley McGree score vital goals

Middlesbrough host Cardiff City knowing they need three points to keep their play-off hopes alive. This being their game in hand, Boro need the win to keep pressure on Sheffield United and move back above Blackburn.
Victory for Boro would move them just two points behind Sheffield United with two games remaining, but Chris Wilder's side are without a win in five, have picked up only two points in that time and scored just the once.
But with Cardiff the visitors, this is an ideal time to keep the season alive and change the mood on Teesside. The Bluebirds arrive knowing they are safe from relegation but have lost four of their last five games.
