EasyJet flights delayed by plumes of ash and smoke after Mount Etna eruption
Italy\'s Mount Etna has erupted, sending plumes of ash and smoke into the sky and causing disruption to flights to and from the Mediterranean. There has been a partial closure of airspace over Catania in Sicily, which sits at the foot of Mt Etna. A plume of black smoke can be seen soaring above the mountain and through the clouds. The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology said the situation is stable but they continue to monitor the eruptions. Have you been affected by this story?
