ONE TO WATCH: TOM WATSON
Born in Horden, Durham, Tom Watson has spent his whole career so far at Sunderland.
Initially in the Club’s academy system before making his professional debut in April of 2023 against Huddersfield Town.
Watson signed a three-year professional deal with his boyhood club in September 2023 and has since made 12 professional appearances for the Black Cats.
The winger bagged his first two professional goals in their recent game against Stoke City. Watson scored in the seventh minute before scoring the winning goal in the 86th minute.
