Full list of TSB bank branches to close in 2022 - including some in the North East

TSB is to close 70 bank branches in the UK next year, with a number of North East stores set to close.
The banking giant has confirmed today that branch closures will take place by the end of June 2022, whittling 290 TSB banks down to 220.
Locations in Gateshead and County Durham are among those affected by the closures.

The bank says the closures are in response to more people using online banking and less people visiting its physical branches.
TSB says 90% of its customers will still be able to travel to one of its branches in 20 minutes or less, the Mirror reports.
The bank adds that by the end of the year, it will also have upgraded around 140 of its physical sites with "new technology and creating a more open and flexible layout".
TSB chief customer officer Robin Bulloch said: "Closing branches is an incredibly difficult decision to take, but we have to respond to the changes in the way people bank and provide the right mix of services for all our customers now and into the future.
"These changes allow us to maintain an extensive branch presence across the country.
"They are accompanied by a significant investment programme to upgrade branches to better suit customer needs.
"And, where it takes longer to get to the nearest branch, we will introduce more 'pop-up' services in communities."
