Robert Michael appointed as new CEO
AbbVie has announced the appointment of longtime executive Robert Michael as the new CEO, succeeding Richard Gonzalez. Michael, who currently serves as AbbVie's chief operating officer, will become the company's second-ever CEO since its spin out from Abbott Laboratories in 2013.
